This course provides learners with the skills and knowledge required to work safely at heights. This course is designed to meet the requirements from the Resources and Infrastructure Industries training package, RII09.
Learners will understand how to identify industry requirements, work procedures and instructions. Additionally, learners will be able to access and install height safety equipment safely, perform their heights work safely including cleaning up their work area when the tasks are completed. Assessment:
The student will be assessed by demonstrating procedures applicable to this unit. They will also be required to answer a number of oral and written questions regarding their actions and theoretical application of knowledge. The assessment may be part of a simulated activity set by the assessor.

Photo Identification is required to be sited prior to course commencement.
Language, literacy and numeracy skills required to interpret legislative requirements and to undertake written and practical assessment activities.
