This course prepares learners to undertake the assessment to obtain a Statement of Attainment in RIIWHS202D Enter and work in confined spaces.

Description:

This course provides learners with the skills and knowledge required to enter and work in confined spaces. This course is designed to meet the requirements from the Resources and Infrastructure Industries training package, RII09.
Learners will understand how to identify industry requirements, plan and prepare for working in a confined space. Additionally, learners will be able to work safely inside a confined space and then exit safely, including cleaning up their work area when the tasks are completed.

Assessment:

The student will be assessed by demonstrating procedures applicable to this unit. They will also be required to answer a number of oral and written questions regarding their actions and theoretical application of knowledge.

Entry Requirements:

Course Fee is required to confirm your enrolment
Learners must be aged 15 years or older
Photo Identification is required to be sited prior to course commencement.
Language, literacy and numeracy skills required to interpret legislative requirements and to undertake written and practical assessment activities.
All course materials will be provided by Ambition Training.
