This course is essential for people who are required to perform live electrical work or act as a safety observer for electrical workers during the course of their employment. This course prepares learners to undertake the assessment to obtain a Statement of Attainment in UETTDDRRF06 Perform rescue from a live LV panel and HLTAID001 Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation

This course provides learners with the skills and knowledge required to perform a rescue from a live LV pane. This course is designed to meet the requirements from the Transmission, Distribution and Rail Sector Training Package- UET12 and the HLT Health training package.
Learners will understand how to identify industry requirements, plan and prepare to perform rescue procedures from live LV panels. Additionally, learners will then be able to be able to complete the rescue procedure, including performing CPR, if required. Assessment:
The learner will be assessed by demonstrating procedures applicable to this units. They will also be required to answer a number of oral and written questions regarding their actions and theoretical application of knowledge.

Learners must be aged 15 years or older
Photo Identification is required to be sited prior to course commencement.
Language, literacy and numeracy skills required to interpret legislative requirements and to undertake written and practical assessment activities.

Currency in HLTAID001, Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation is required prior to completing this course. Statement of Attainment required to be sited prior to course commencement.
